Windows 7 has lots of new features, one of them is a new Aero feature called Aero Peek. Aero Peek allows you to display the desktop by making all of the open windows transparent just showing there outer border.

The Peek/Show Desktop button can be located at the bottom right hand of the Superbar (Taskbar) at the end of the system tray next to the clock.

One of the new features that came with Windows 7 when it was released, is Aero Snap which lets you minimize, maximize or resize programs windows by dragging them to the screen corners or edge of the screen, for instance you can maximize a window by dragging it to the top of screen.

Even though these features can be very usefull, alot of users prefer to disable them, so If you want to disable Aero Snap in Windows 7, then this small guide will show you how.

Windows 7 has loads of new features but sadly some of these features are only avalible to certain versions of Windows 7

Luckerly one of the new features in Windows 7 is Windows Anytime Upgrade (WAU) which can provide users with a very quick (around 10 minutes) and easy way to upgrade there version of Windows 7 to a more premium feature rich version of Windows 7. To unlock the additional features all you have to do is buy an upgrade key from Microsoft or from any local retailer. Windows Anytime Upgrade will also walk you through the entire upgrade process.

The upgrade process is very easy todo and you’ll keep your programs, files, and settings.

Windows Live MailAs i've mentioned before Windows 7 comes with allot of new features one of which is the improved Notification Area, this has been cleaned up to provide a better look and feel, but as i mentioned in my previous article Minimize Windows Live Messenger to the system tray notifications area in Windows 7 certain programs that would normally minimize to the tray in previous versions of Windows no longer will with Windows 7, Windows Live Mail is one of these programs that will not so i have created this small article to describe how to get it to minimize to the system tray.

A not so well known Feature of Windows 7 is its built in ability to burn an ISO or IMG file to CD or DVD straight from Windows Explorer, this a welcome added extra as with previous versions of windows including Vista you would have had to download and install a 3rd party application to be able to burn these image files to disc. Windows 7 now supports this ability.
